Around two I first strapped in at one of my local resorts, I didn't ride the lift or any thing but dad would pull me up and down the main slope. I competed in my first competition when I was 6, it was a boarder cross comp but all I remember was being so stoked to put the competition bib on I really couldn't care if I actually went riding or not.   In 2008 I signed my first contract with ripcurl, I didnt know much about what it said in that contract but I knew I got free stuff and that was about the coolest thing I could imagine at that age.   In 2011 POC  wanted to get onboard and help me out with helmets. while all this was going on I was still that kid that would drive down from Stanwell Park and snowboard all weekend then drive back Sunday night.
